It’s Week 4 of the high school football season and teams from across the region will again be hitting the gridiron. Patch offers a look at this week’s schedule of games and a glimpse back at the results for each school in the area from last week games.

• Friday, 6 p.m.: Lindenhurst (1-2) at Patchogue-Medford (1-2)

Last Week: Bay Shore 35 Lindenhurst 14; Sachem North 51 Patchogue-Medford 14 

• Friday, 6 p.m.: Centereach at West Babylon (1-2)

Last Week: West Babylon 29 Half Hollow Hills West 28

• Saturday, 2 p.m.: Babylon (3-0) at Mt. Sinai

Last Week: Babylon 38 Greenport/Southhold 0

• Saturday, 2 p.m.: North Babylon (2-1) at East Islip

Last Week: Riverhead 42 North Babylon 28

• Saturday, 6 p.m.: Deer Park (1-2) at Hauppauge

• Saturday, 2 p.m.: Connetquot at Half Hollow Hills East (1-2)

This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
