Girls Soccer: Lions Tops N. Babylon (Photos)

West Islip continues winning ways with 4-0 victory over the Bulldogs.

West Islip moved to 10-0 in League III play with a decisive 4-0 victory over North Babylon Thursday at West Islip High School.

Despite strong goalie play by the Bulldogs' Angela DiFazio, the Lions kept the pressure on and went to the half leading 3-0. West Islip would tack on an additional goal early in the second half to stretch its lead to four. North Babylon falls to 3-8 in League III play.

West Islip has two games remaining in the regular season; Saturday at Smithtown East and Tuesday at home against Smithtown West.

North Babylon caps its season with a home game Monday against Half Hollow Hills West.

This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
