LI2Day Breast Cancer Walk - 35 Miles in 2 Days

The Long Island 2 Day Walk to Fight Breast Cancer takes walkers on an inspirational two-day, 35-mile journey through picturesque Suffolk County. ALL of the money raised (no fees deducted) ALL stays here on Long Island to aid patients with financial issues as they go through Breast Cancer treatment.
Day One of the LI2Day WalkThe walk, beginning early Saturday morning, at Smith Point County Park, takes place on scenic and secure Suffolk County roads, with full support from the Suffolk County Police Department, as well as local hospitals and ambulance companies.  Rest stops, providing food, drinks, entertainment, goodies, first-aid, and port-a-lavs, are located along the route at two-mile intervals.
To celebrate the 10-mile mark, lunch will be provided for walkers at Southaven Park.  Volunteers and crewmembers will be on hand to offer encouragement and support along the way.  Family members are invited to cheer their loved ones on at designated locations along the route.
Victory Village at Cathedral Pines represents the 20-mile mark, where walkers will be welcomed by podiatrists, medical aid, chiropractors, physical trainers, and massage therapists.  Upon their arrival at Victory Village, walkers will find a fully equipped campsite, complete with assembled tents, their own gear/personal items delivered by UPS, snacks, and entertainment.  Walkers will also enjoy dinner at the campsite, catered and served by Carrabba's Italian Grill of Smithtown.
