The West Islip High School boy's lacrosse team was recently honored during a special ring ceremony to celebrate their 2012 state title win.
During the ceremony, Coach Scott Craig provided an overview of the season and Athletic Director Tim Horan gave the rings to each individual player.
Islip Town councilman Steve Flotteron presented the team with a citation recognizing their acheivement.
The rings were paid for by the fundraising efforts of the West Islip Booster Club.
