Boys Lacrosse Team Appears in Wall Street Journal

Photos of the boys' Suffolk final win over Smithtown West serve as media for story.

In recent years, West Islip has become the poster child for Long Island lacrosse.  It could have something to do with their eight-straight Suffolk County Class A crowns, or four NYS titles in the last six years. 

They've appeard in numerous high-profiled publications in that time, most notably this cover of Inside Lacrosse Magazine two seasons ago. 

Just recently, the Lions appeared in the June 10th edition of the Wall Street Journal, in an article entitled "Lacrosse Muscles Up."  The story, written by staffer Chris Henning, highlights the rise and reign of lacrosse in New York.
