Lacrosse

Andrew Hodgson had two goals and an assist for Towson in the Tigers 13-8 win over Delaware.  Earlier this past week, Hodgson also had two goals and a helper in the Tigers’ 17-8 win over Mercer.

Justin Turri had a goal and an assist for Duke in the Blue Devils’ 13-11 win over Georgetown.

Nicky Galasso's goal tied the game at eight in North Carolina’s hard-fought 11-10 win over ACC rival Maryland.

Mike Sagl had a game-high four goals on six shots for Quinnipiac in the team’s 12-11 victory over Binghamton.

Mike Johnson had a goal in SUNY Maritime’s 18-7 loss to Potsdam.

Eddie Plompen had a goal and an assist for C.W. Post but the Pioneers came up short against NYIT 11-6.

Lauren Spagnoletta and Kathleen Rotan each scored a goal for Adelphi in the team’s 11-8 win over Lock Haven.

• Syracuse sophomore goaltender Alyssa Costantino made four saves in the Orange’s 20-8 victory over the University of Connecticut.

Devan Crimi had four goals for Adelphi in the team’s 22-12 win over Saint Anselm.

Rebecca Monteith had two goals and five assists in Oneonta State’s 20-13 win over St. John Fisher.

Baseball

• Freshman right fielder Frank Gagliardi had two hits and scored a run in Farmingdale State’s 8-3 win over NYU-Poly.

• Senior Matt Simone had an RBI single that gave C.W. Post a two-run lead in its 4-2 victory over Queens in the second game of a double-header. Simone also led C.W. Post to a 2-1 victory in another game vs. Queens. He accounted for both runs with RBI hits in the first inning and seventh inning.

Softball

Rebecca Richman was 2-for-2 with two runs scored for Farmingdale State as the Rams defeated Mount Saint Mary 8-6.
