WI Alumni Lacrosse Report: C.W. Post Duo on Scoring Spree

Here's a look at how former West Islip High School lacrosse players fared for their new schools last week.

Every Monday during the college lacrosse season, Patch will update you on the progress of former players.  Since there's so many to count, we won't be listing every player each week.

Co-Player of the Week: Lauren Spagnoletta (C.W. Post, Jr.),

The junior midfielder notched four goals for the second-ranked Pioneers, who were defeated for the first time at home by No. 3 Lock Haven, 17-11. Spagnoletta leads the team in goals (18) and is tied at the top in points (18).

Justin Turri (Duke, RJr.)

All Turri did was extend his scoring streak streak to 21 games with a goal and two assists in a 18-10 win over Dartmouth.

Bryan Badolato (Sacred Heart, So.)

Badolato and the Pioneers came up one goal short in a thrilling four overtime match to Denver, 13-12.  The sophomore sensation added four goals to his team-high total of 14.  He also leads SHU in assists (8) and points (22).

Rob Moore (Jacksonville University, Fr.)

On Saturday, Moore tallied a goal and assist in a 12-8 victory at Canisius.

Andrew Hodgson (Towson, Fr.)

The highly touted freshman didn't light up the box score, but his two assists did help Towson upset fifth-ranked Stony Brook 9-8 on Saturday.
