Extracurricular activities throughout the West Islip School District are cancelled for Wednesday due to another bout of bad weather.
A bulletin posted on the district's website Wednesday afternoon announced the cancellations, which include athletic practices and games.
Alternative School classes are also cancelled for the day.
This marks the first day that all students in the district headed back to school since Hurricane Sandy swept the area ten days ago.
