West Islip's Future Business Leaders Visit Six Flags

Students learned about not-for-profit marketing.

West Islip High School students representing the Future Business Leaders of America, The DECA clubs, and the Business and Marketing Honor Society attended the annual “Business and Marketing Day” at Six Flags Great Adventure in May.

The students traveled to New Jersey to focus on the way not-for-profits market their products similarly to for-profit businesses. They met and spoke with guest speakers and professionals in the field.

Club advisors  Monica Krawczyk and  Joanne Macrelli accompanied the students to the conference.
