[VIDEO] Residents Share Thoughts On School District Study Group Plan

Parents raise a bevy of concerns ranging from school closures to property taxes.

Tuesday night's meeting outlining recommendations from the at the high school attracted hundreds of residents.

School superintendent Richard Simon outlined a number of recommendations from the Study Group that focused on ways to reduce school district expenditures as it faces the New York State-mandated tax cap.

During the meeting 26 residents spoke and expressed a variety of concerns ranging from possible school closures to the tax burden on local property owners.
