Thursday's West Islip Board of Ed Agenda

A sneak peek at the Board of Education's agenda for their March 14 meeting.

The West Islip School Board of Education will hold its montly meeting on Thursday at 8 p.m.

Though originally set to take place at the high school, the BOE will meet in the auditorium at Beach Street Middle School.

The Board will aprrove a donation to the district by MSG Varsity, several students will be recognized for various achievements, and President Steve Gellar will discuss the 2013-2014 calendar.

You can thank all these POS politicians for the new gun legislation designed to make law abiding…Read More citizens give up their second amendment rights out of sheer frustration and incontinence of owning a gun legally for increases in savage on citizen violence. This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
