Talk Back: What Should School District Do With Extra State Aid?

West Islip received more aid than expected in the approved state budget. Patch wants to know how you think the district should spend it.

Patch reported last week that West Islip schools will receive about for 2012/2013 school year than originally estimated.

The approved state budget means that the district will have $1.1 million more aid than was granted in 2011/2012.

The is still being finalized with adoption scheduled for Wednesday, April 18. What do you think the biggest priority for schools will be? How should the money be spent?
