Yadav's project was titled, "Discovery of Novel Benzimidazole-based Antibacterial Agents Targeting FtsZ for Potential Treatment of Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis." She worked on the project at Stony Brook University under the guidance of Professor Iwao Ojima.

Longtime educator Mary Anderson, who spent the past 19 years as principal of Manetuck Elementary School, effective the end of the current school year. Anderson is currently in her 41st year in West Islip, and started her career as an elementary school teacher.
