OLL Students Write Letters to Veterans
Kindergarten students honored Memorial Day by sending thank-you letters to vets.

Ms. Pintabona’s Kindergarten class from Our Lady of Lourdes in West Islip celebrated Memorial Day by writing letters to our Veterans. The students learned about Memorial Day and why it is important to keep those who have served for our country in our thoughts and prayers. The students were so excited to write to the Veterans. They told the Veterans a little bit about themselves and they thanked them for their service. They are hoping to receive some letters back from them.
