Talk Back: What Lindy Village Streets Need Repaving?

Lindenhurst Village has announced its repaving another portion of North Wellwood this week, after completing some repaving in the Spring. What streets do you think should also be repaved?

The Village of Lindenhurst is moving ahead with roadwork, after completing several projects in the Spring.

And at the end of last week the Village announced it's repaving another portion of North Wellwood Avenue.

But there are many roads in need of repaving, resurfacing and/or repair, as evidenced to response right here on Lindenhurst Patch and at Village meetings.

So, Lindy, what do you think?

Which roads are also in dire need of repaving, resurfacing and/or repair?

South 8th Street needs paving. We live in the 500 block and have lived here since 1986 and it has never been repaved. It is a busy thru street there is so much traffic on this block. There are so many square cuts in the road from LIPA/National Grid. Also what about the valley in the road on South 8th Street at the south corner of Hoffman Avenue? Even if you go slow, you bottom out so easily!

Jackie you are correct about N. Indiana Ave. I drop my kids off at school each morning and I feel like I am on a roller coaster ride. The entire N. Indiana Ave needs to be repaved. Especially with all the school traffic. Get on the ball Lindy village and do the right thing . FIX THE ROAD!!!!!!

South 7th Street South of Montauk Hwy. needs to be repaved. Trees are uprooting the street as well as the sidewalk. When it rains we get a lake in front of the house. Also not near me but West Gates near the School is terrible too!!!
