Rosary Rally Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospital

Catholics for Freedom of Religion will be holding a Rosary Rally for Religious Liberty & the Preservation of Catholic Healthcare on Saturday, October 5 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, in the front parking lot of Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center on Montauk Highway in West Islip.

The rally is designed to raise awareness about the mandate from Health and Human Services that calls for fines on Catholic hospitals, and other religious institutions, of $100 per day per employee, as of January1, 2014, if they do not comply with new mandates for health insurance coverage of products and services that directly violate Catholic teachings.

The rally will feature public prayer and witness for intercession and inspiration to preserve First Amendment freedom of religion and Catholic healthcare for Americans of all faiths. For more information, call 631-896-8331.
