Flooding that hit Islip Town last weekend during the recent storm was discussed by Councilman John Cochrane at a press conference at Shorefront Park in Patchogue Village Wednesday.
Cochrane, as well as Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone and other officials are pushing for the Old Inlet breach on Fire Island to be closed, blaming it for causing this flooding.
