King Gets In The Ring

Congressman battles New York kickboxing champion 'Irish' Josh Foley.

A large crowd packed into Mulcahy's Pub & Concert Hall Saturday night to see Rep. Peter King, R-Seaford, take part in an exhibition boxing match against New York kickboxing champion "Irish" Josh Foley.

King, who represents West Islip, and Foley, a Long Beach resident, duked it out in the ring for two rounds with no winner declared. To see highlights of the match, view the YouTube video above.

The congressman prepped for his fight at Bellmore Kickboxing Academy. Officials with the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington questioned whether King's involvement in the Mulcahy's boxing event was a House of Representatives ethics violation.

The Seaford lawmaker responded by saying that his participation was just aimed at supporting local business.

You can thank all these POS politicians for the new gun legislation designed to make law abidingRead More citizens give up their second amendment rights out of sheer frustration and incontinence of owning a gun legally for increases in savage on citizen violence. This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
