Islip Debuts Interactive Historic Trail

The map will also be available offline at town hall and MacArthur Airport.

The Town of Islip's website now boasts a  new, interactive component that highlights the newly established Historic Islip Trail, as well as a corresponding brochure and map.

The Wereholme Weekes Estate – now home to the Seatuck Association – is just one of 30 historic places of interest identified in the Islip Historic Trail.

Town officials cited local residents  Patrick Valdini and Jack Whitehouse for the countless hours that they contributed in making the Historic Islip Trail a reality, as well as Rich Carpenter of ACT Communications for designing and printing the historic map as a donation to the Town.
