The Wereholme Weekes Estate – now home to the Seatuck Association – is just one of 30 historic places of interest identified in the Islip Historic Trail.
Town officials cited local residents Patrick Valdini and Jack Whitehouse for the countless hours that they
contributed in making the Historic Islip Trail a reality, as well as Rich Carpenter of ACT Communications for designing and printing
the historic map as a donation to the Town.
The Historic Islip Trail can be found on the Town’s website by clicking on the Tourism and History on the Home Page. The map and brochure will be available at several public venues, including Islip Town Hall and Long Island MacArthur Airport.
