Town of Islip beaches and pools remain open through Monday. Here's your guide to the modified Labor Day hours and closing dates.
Beaches
All beaches close Monday. All beaches open at 10 a.m. and close for the night at 6 p.m.
Pools
Community pools are located within the following town parks:
Byron Lake Pool, Oakdale
Casamento Pool, Bay Shore
Roberto Clemente Pool, Brentwood
Hidden Pond Park Pool, Hauppauge
Ship Wreck Cove, Bay Shore
Hours at these pools are:
Monday from 11 a.m.- 5 p.m.
After Monday, pools close for the season.
