7-Eleven Planning Board Hearing Rescheduled

Hearing for convenience store application set for Thursday, July 26.

The Town of Islip Planning Board will hold a hearing for the zoning change and special permit application regarding a proposed 7-Eleven in West Islip on Thursday, July 26.

The hearing was initally scheduled for June, however the applicants at the last minute.

The proposed convenience store would sit at the corner of Udall Rd. and Muncey Rd., replacing the that currently sits there.

The owners of the location — Jon Halperin, Peter Halperin and Stephen Halperin are requesting a zoning change and a Planning Board Special Permit for the convenience store. Site plan modifications are also required as part of the application. (Full details are contained in the attached PDF.)
