Jane Evans-Parker, 65, is listed in serious condition following Friday afternoon crash, police say.

A West Islip woman was seriously injured in a crash in North Babylon Friday afternoon, police said.

Jane Evans-Parker, 65, was driving her 2000 Honda CRV west on Weeks Road, when her vehicle was struck by a 2001 Dodge Caravan which was exiting from the Pathmark shopping center at 4:25 p.m, police said.

Evans-Parker, of West Islip, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, where she is listed in serious condition.

The driver of the Dodge, Crystal Woods, of Wyandanch, was treated at Good Samaritan for non-life threatening injuries and released.

The investigation is continuing and anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact First Squad detectives at (631) 854-8152.

prayers said. Know the area well, didn't the woman pulling out of the Pathmark parking lot look first? I know sometimes the sun can be bad and your vision is impaired.

I hope the woman is okay. I did see her car upside down and thought, who could be driving THAT FAST in order for her car to be rolled upside down like that during a crash? It's a four way stop sign and the upside down vehicle was just on the other side of the sign. There is usually a good police presence on weeks road and the drivers coming out of Pathmark are normally in a hurry (in my opinion). There were a lot of people watching them help her. The driver's side was completely crushed, I'm just grateful to hear that she made it to the hospital, God Bless Her and Speed her Recovery.

Joyce... I just missed seeing that accident ...at the time the sun was not blaring and the four way was actually clear/visible.

Hopefully she recovers quickly. Women drivers eyes in the mirror, concentration on mascara, lipstick or cellphone. Tsk tsk!

Joel, you are such a piece of crap. You say things just to get under people's skin. Why can't you just leave it at "hopefully she recovers"? How much does it suck being you, that you have to go out of your way to annoy and pester people?

Eeeeeasy Jonny!! No need to get so emotionally involved!
