A West Islip man employed as a store manager at a Freeport CVS was arrested on Tuesday after police say he stole more than $40,000 from the store over the past week.

According to Nassau police, Scott T. Crafa, 42, failed to make the store's bank deposits between March 26-30.

Following an investigation, Crafa was arrested at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the store, located at 403 Atlantic Avenue, police said.

Crafa is charged with third degree grand larceny and will be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
