Police Seeking Woman Who Stole Wallet at Medford Meat Farms

Wallet contained approximately $900 in cash.

Suffolk County Police are searching for a female suspected of stealing a woman's wallet off of the deli counter at the Meat Farms supermarket, 1610 Route 112 in Medford, on June 23.

Police say that at approximately 3:50 p.m., an unknown white female took another woman's wallet containing around $900 in cash off of the deli counter at the Meat Farms supermarket when the victim was not looking.

The suspect appeared to be in her late 40s, heavy set and had shoulder length, dark hair worn in a mullet style. At the store she was wearing a green sleeveless shirt, dark colored shorts, sneakers and sunglasses.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Kristine: Police just sent the release for it Monday. For these type of incidents it's pretty common for them to ask for the public's help a few months after the fact. The more major incidents seem to get sent out a few hours later usually as well.
