Police: Pair Used Stolen Credit Card at West Islip CVS

Credit card was reported stolen in Huntington Bay on January 8.

The search is on for a man and woman who Suffolk County Police said stole a credit card and used it to make purchases at the CVS store in West Islip earlier this month.

According to police, a woman reported that her purse, which contained credit cards, was stolen from her unlocked 2012 Jeep Liberty on Beach Road in Huntington Bay sometime after January 8 at approximately 5 p.m.

The following day, one of the credit cards reported stolen was used at the West Islip CVS located at 460 Montauk Highway at 3:15 a.m., police said.

The suspects are described as a man and woman, both white and in their early 20's.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for
information that leads to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
