A Nesconset house and occurred at the home of Olympian Maria Michta. Shortly after lightning struck the home on Lillian Road, downing wires that ignited two cars and engulfed them in flames, Michta, competing in the race walk in London, tweeted, "That fire was at my house, and we lost two cars."

Michael Grasing, the Babylon man accused of driving drunk and causing a car crash that killed  , is now facing a murder charge.

 

Lindenhurst
A two-car crash in West Babylon on Tuesday evening, July 17, killed an elderly West Babylon man, and sent a Lindenhurst man and his male teen passenger to the hospital.

Suffolk County Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver of a vehicle that was involved in a fatal hit-and-run incident in West Islip earlier this month.
