Marijuana Possession, Criminal Mischief Reported in Latest Police Blotter
Arrests and incidents reported by the Third Precinct of the SCPD between July 29-August 5.
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Arrests
- On July 30, Steven Fazio, of West Islip, was arrested in Lindenhurst and charged with resisting arrest.
- On August 1, Christopher Paterno, of West Islip, was arrested in West Islip and charged with assault.
- On August 2, Christopher Daly, of Bay Shore, was arrested in West Islip and charged with criminal possession of marijuana.
- On August 2, Matthew Heffrom, of West Islip, was arrested in West Islip and charged with criminal possession of marijuana.
- On August 3, Argelis Placenia, of West Islip, was arrested in West Islip and charged with criminal possession of marijuana.

- On July 29, there was a report of criminal mischief on Garden Street at 5:30 p.m.
- On July 29, there was a report of harassment on W 4th Street at 2:15 a.m.
- On July 31, there was a report of criminal mischief on Boulevard Avenue at 1 a.m.
- On August 2, there was a report of harassment on N 18th Street at 6 p.m.
