Larceny, Harassment Reported in Weekly Police Blotter

Arrests and incidents reported by the Third Precinct of the SCPD between October 20-26.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department.  A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • On October 20, Robert Skinbinski, of West Islip, was arrested in West Islip and charged with harassment.
  • On October 26, Brian Ragland, of West Islip, was arrested in West Islip and charged with petit larceny.  
  • On October 26, Thomas Wood, of West Islip, was arrested in West Islip and charged with petit larceny.
  • On October 26, Dennis Okula, of West Islip, was arrested in Bay Shore and charged with fleeing the scene of an accident.
  • On October 26, Pietro Simonelli, of West Islip, was arrested in Lindenhurst and charged with marijuana possession.

  • On October 21, there was a report harassment on Montauk Highway at 10 a.m.
  • On October 24, there was a report of burglary on Lake Drive South at 8 a.m.
  • On October 25, there was a report of petit larceny on Beach Street at 11:24 a.m.
