Criminal Mischief, Harassment Reported in Local Police Blotter
Arrests reported by the Third Precinct of the SCPD between Jan. 15-22.
The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below.
Arrests
- On January 17, Gregg Nixon, of West Islip, was arrested in West Islip for harassment; physical contact.
- On January 19, Daniel Buehler, of Lindenhurst, was arrested in West Islip for petit larceny.

- On January 15, there was a report of harassment on Union Blvd. at 4:39 p.m.
- On January 15, there was a report of aggregated harassment in West Islip at 12:50 a.m.
- On January 17, there was a report of harassment on Malts Avenue at 11 a.m.
- On January 17, there was a report of criminal mischief on Alinda Avenue at 9 p.m.
- On January 18, there was a report of criminal mischief on West 4th Street at 2 p.m.
- On January 18, there was a report of criminal mischief on Higbie Lane at 8 a.m.
- On January 19, there was a report of criminal mischief on Breslau Street at 9:30 p.m.
