Crime Report: W. Islip Man Accused of Stealing Copper Wire From LIRR

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Incidents

  • An incident of harassment was reported on Shadybrook Lane on Jan. 24.

Arrests

  • A West Islip man was arrested in West Islip on Jan. 19 on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
  • Kevin Graham, 29, of West Islip, was among an organized ring of 15 Long Island Rail Road employees and two others indicted Friday after conspiring to steal more than $250,000 worth of copper wire belonging to the LIRR.
