Crime Report: DWI, Robbery

Arrests and incidents reported by the Third Precinct of the SCPD between March 29-April 4.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • On March 31, Jordan Goldberg, of Lindenhurst, was arrested in West Islip and charged with DWI. 
  • On March 30, Dawn Lombardi, of West Islip, was arrested in West Islip and charged with criminal contempt.

Incidents

  • On April 1, there was a report of grand larceny on Namdac Avenue at 12 a.m.
  • On April 1, there was a report of aggravated harassment on Oak Neck Lane at 6:00 p.m.  
  • On March 31, there was a report of criminal mischief on Ace Court at 10 p.m.
  • On March 29, there was a report of second degree burglary on Udall Road at 7:30 a.m.
  • On March 28, there was a report of robbery on Sunrise Highway Service Road at 11:35 p.m.
  • On March 27, there was a report of criminal mischief on Sandra Avenue at 3 p.m.
  • On March 27, there was a report of criminal mischief on Norma Avenue at 9 a.m.
  • On March 27, there was a report of harassment on Drake Court at 5:30 p.m.

This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Politics get dirty enough as is and I think this will increase participation and ultimately give us a better Board of Education.
