Burglary, Possession Reported in Local Police Blotter

Arrests reported by the Third Precinct of the SCPD between Dec 9-18

The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below.

Arrests

  • On December 9, Ron Kunchman, of Babylon, was arrested in West Islip for operating a vehicle without a license.
  • On December 11, Frank IV Pace, of West Islip, was arrested in West Islip for criminal possession of stolen property.
  • On December 11, Anthony Cassino, of West Islip, was arrested in Bay Shore for aggravated harassment.
  • On December 14, Giovanni Olivieri, of West Islip was arrested in Wyandanch for operating a moving vehicle while impaired by drugs and criminal possession of marijuana. 
  • On December 15, Gaspar Crociata, of West Islip, was arrested in Bay Shore for criminal contempt.

  • On December 11, there was a report of criminal mischief (breaking through a window) on Higbie Lane in West Islip at 6 p.m.
  • On December 12, there was a report of graffiti on Muncey Road in West Islip at 8 p.m.
  • On December 13, there was a report of aggravated harassment on Montauk Highway in West Islip at noon.
  • On December 13, there was a report of burglary on Sunrise Highway in West Islip at 12:45 a.m.
  • On December 14, there was a report of harassment on Hawley Avenue in West Islip at 2:45 p.m.
  • On December 15, there was a report of grand larceny on Duffin Avenue in West Islip at noon.
  • On December 15, there was a report of burglary on Montauk Highway in West Islip at 10:30 p.m.
