Police are investigating a break-in at Beach Street Middle School Friday night.
Police said witnesses reported seeing two people run from the West Islip school east toward Everdell Avenue after the break-in, which occurred around 10:15 p.m. after a window was broken.
A fire alarm was pulled inside the school, police said. Nothing was reported stolen. Police searched the area, but no one was found.
