A Look Back: East End Wild Fire

Firefighters from departments across Long Island chipped in to help battle this past week's massive blaze in Eastern Long Island.

This past week hundreds of firefighters from Suffolk and Nassau counties were called to duty to battle the that charred thousands of acres and destroyed several homes and businesses.

Departments from communities in southwestern and south central Suffolk were among those battling the flames in dry, windy conditions.
