Residents Say Yes to Trader Joe's

We recently asked the people of West Islip what they would like to see pop up in town.

The answer was, overwhelmingly, Trader Joe's. Seventy-five percent of our 214 voters said the quirky grocery chain is on their wish list.

LIRR Disability Scam Immunity

In response to our question regarding a out of jail and allow them to keep some of their benefits, most readers cried foul.

Though the deal is estimated to save millions, the majority of voters said the deal is unfair.
