Employees from the Islandia office of CA Technologies recently lent a helping hand to Habitat for Humanity and Robert Moses State Park as part of the company's 8th annual Together in Action volunteer program which enables employees worldwide to positively impact their communities. Volunteers will be working on a home for a deserving family with Habitat for Humanity throughout the month of October. Also, employees assisted the Robert Moses State Park by removing debris and installing fencing. These are just two of the many events the Islandia office has planned for the month.
The Islandia events are part of CA Technologies 8th annual CA Together in Action volunteer program, which enables employees worldwide to positively impact their communities at a local level. Each fall, CA Technologies offers volunteers paid time off to support community projects of their choosing. Since its inception in 2005, CA Together in Action has collectively provided support to more than 1,000 volunteer projects with approximately 45,000 hours of community service.
