West Islip Resident Rosella M. Brink Dies

Brink was a Good Sam Hospital volunteer for over 50 years.

Rosella M. Brink, of West Islip, died on December 14. 2013.

She was the beloved wife of the late John H. Brink, devoted mother of John R. Brink and Steven B. and his wife Diane S. Brink and cherished grandmother of Richard A., Jason L. and Michael A. Brink and great grandmother of Sara Brink. 

Brink was a volunteer at Good Samaritan Hospital for over 50 years and one of the last Golden Girls of the volunteer system as well as an active member of the Babylon Guild.

She was also a Deacon of Westminster United Presbyterian Church in West Islip. 

Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Highway. Visiting will be Thursday 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

A funeral service will be held Friday at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn.
