Funeral Services Set for West Islip Cop Killed in Crash

The family of Joseph C. Capo II, a NYPD cop killed Oct. 17 when West Islip resident's car crashed on the Southern State parkway, have set funeral and burial services, according to an obituary posted on Newsday.

He is the beloved son of Thomas Joseph and Michelle Capo, dear brother of Thomas Joseph, Jr. and Daniel Thomas Capo, loving grandson of Joseph and Katherine Cartelli and the late Joseph C. and Jacqueline Capo.

A Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Monday, Oct. 21 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church, in West Islip

Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, in Farmingdale.

Visiting Saturday and Sunday 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
