Bay Shore resident Frank Taravella died on on January 5, 2014.
He was the beloved husband of Joyce Shirley Taravella, devoted father of Joseph and Thomas Davis Taravella, loving step father of John O'Keefe, Shirley Borak and Richard O'Keefe.
He was the cherished grandfather of eight grandchildren, and proud great grandfather of one. Fond brother of Vera Messina, Frances Muraski, Sadie Ruggieri and the late Charles Taravella and Mary LaPorta.
Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, located at 1225 Montauk Highway. Visiting will be Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. until 9 p.m..
A religious service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, in Farmingdale.
