If you're looking to get out of the heat and cool off for a bit, head to West Islip Library Friday at 1 p.m., where they'll be showing a feature film. Cookies and coffee will also be served. No registration required.

Got a vintage or classic car? Head to Bob's Shopping Center parking lot and meet up with hundreds of other classic car lovers. The event starts at 5 p.m. Saturday and is sponsored by Long Island Road Gents.
It's not too late to register for simple soccer camp taught by West Islip alum Vinny Caccavale. Parents can register kids this weekend at the Islip Town Recereation Center of Muncey Road.
