Deer Park-North Babylon Patch Set to Debut

Latest addition to the Patch family will go live Monday; residents invited to launch party at Buffalo Wild Wings in North Babylon.

The Patch brand is expanding on Long Island with the launch of Deer Park-North Babylon Patch on Monday, and you’re invited to help celebrate the debut of our newest hyper-local news website.

Members of Patch’s editorial and sales teams will mark the launch of the new site on Monday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings in North Babylon. Residents in Deer Park, North Babylon as well as those from surrounding communities are invited to enjoy some snacks and meet the Patch team.

“We are very excited to launch a Patch for residents in Deer Park and North Babylon,” said Greg Sleter, regional editor for the south shore of Suffolk County. “The initial response from both communities to the new site has been overwhelming and we look forward to meeting many members of both communities this coming Monday.”

In addition to meeting with Patch staff members, local residents will also have the opportunity to easily sign up for daily and weekly newsletters as well as breaking news alerts, and also share story ideas.
