West Islip Hospital Delivers First LI Baby of 2014

Pamela Rodriquez was born at West Islip medical center.

Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, in West Islip, delivered the first baby on Long Island in 2014.

Jacqueline Rodriquez delivered her first daughter, Pamela, two weeks early at 12:22 am, weighing in at 8 lbs., 4.5 oz. She will join her three brothers; Steven, Angel and Brian at home in Massapequa.

In honor of the baby girl’s arrival, the medical center presented the family with gift baskets donated by Babies R Us and Good Samaritan. The delivering physician was Aaron David, MD. 

Each year, approximately 3,000 babies are delivered at Good Samaritan.
