The Week Ahead: WIBCC Clam Shucking Contest, Free Concert

For the 18th year, the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition will host their at Surf's Out Restaurant in Kismet on Tuesday, August 14. 

Festivities include music, raffles, a Chinese auction, silent auction, corn husking for kids, and a tennis clinic. There will be a cash grand prize for the raffle. All proceeds support the “Lend A Helping Hand” program, which provides services for local women affected by breast cancer.

If you need some more insight into your life, Mystic Louis will be giving Tarot card readings at 's starting at 7 p.m. Private readings are $25.

The Chiclettes will bring their 50's and 60's girl group to Brookwood Hall in East Islip for the on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Be sure to bring a blanket or chair.

Café Mojo hosts its at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The questions can be tough, but its a fun challenge. Winners take home Café Mojo gift certificates.

The West Islip Public Library is offering a Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. Coffee and cookies will be served.
