On Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the library, Paula Bivona, an herbalist and natural gardener, will discuss harvesting, preserving, and preparing different types of herbs, including culinary herbs, medicinal herbs and herbs for natural body care. Paula will also demonstrate how to plant and care for an herb garden.

Over at , members of the community can take part in a gluten-free healthy cooking class, which starts at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

It's that time of year again, as we send of another senior class. Watch West Islip's 2012 graduates recevie their diplomas on Saturday at 9 a.m. at West Islip High School.
