Food Drives and Collections for Thanksgiving

The holiday season is often a time of giving. Those interested in donating food for Thanksgiving or just to help fill shelves for this time of year can visit the following places:

In support of Island Harvest’s annual Turkey and Trimmings Collection Campaign to help feed Long Islanders struggling with hunger during the holiday season, Panera Bread is among the many Long Island locations accepting non-perishable food items and frozen turkey donations now through Christmas Eve, Dec. 24. Donation bins have been set up for boxed and canned foods; frozen turkeys can be donated at the counter.
