Foundation's Sandy Ground Project has chosen West
Islip to honor one of the Newtown victims from Sandy Hook Elementary School.

beautiful playgrounds designed in Madeleine Hsu's personality and interests that will
bring hope healing and recovery
to the West Islip community.
Several organizations
have met to put together a fundraiser for the entire community to help support
this organization in raising money for future playgrounds for other towns that
were affected by Hurricane Sandy. We will be hosting a Taste of the Town Food
and Wine Sampling at the Firehouse on May 21st at 7pm. This food
tasting will showcase many of the West Islip establishments as well as other
local restaurants.
