The West Islip School District and South Shore TRI Coach are sponsoring the first-ever West Islip Tri-Kids Triathalon on Sunday, Oct. 14.
The event will take place at 8 a.m. at West Islip High School and athletes ages 7 to 14 may participate. All proceeds raised from the triathalon will benefit the West Islip Health and Wellness Alliance.
Participants will compete in two age groups:

7 to 10 years- 50-yard swim, 2-mile bike ride, 1-mile run
11 to 14 years- 100-yard swim, 2-mile bike ride, 1-mile run

There is a $10 registration fee for the first child of each family, additional children are free. (See attached PDF for full details.)
