UPDATE: What's Open, Closed on Saturday

Public library, school programs among blizzard-related closures.

With roads unpassable and more than a foot of snow on the ground, many businesses, schools and government buildings are closed Saturday.

We will leave a running list of what's open and closed. Also, if you're at a location in West Islip, let us know if it's open or closed in comments.

Closed:

West Islip Public Library. Defensive driving has been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 16.
St. John The Baptist High School
West Islip Public School Activities. Driver's Education has also been cancelled for Sunday, Feb. 10.

Open:

Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center
Farrell's
Hershey's Ice Cream
