Weekend Planner: Labor Day Weekend Events

Local concerts and a car show will send off summer.

Got a classic car, or love to look at them? Saturday nights at the Bob's Shopping Center parking lot is the place to go for the . Classic car owners are invited to drive their vintage vehicles down and talk autos with other drivers and spectators. The event starts at 5 p.m.

The Tanger Outlets at The Arches will conclude the Summer Concert Series with its last free concert at 6:00 p.m. Karmin, a pop-rock duo, will take the stage for a big set!

Come to the only music held on top of a working lighthouse in the middle of the water! The 6th annual Huntington Lighthouse Music Fest takes place Saturday, Sept. 1 (Raindate-Sunday) and free to the public. Runs from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Come by boat, kayak, canoe, or other mode of water transportation, relax, and listen to the bands that will perform from the roof of the lighthouse. The lineup features: Joe Rock & the Allstars, King Wellington, The Fuzz, Playback, Running' Loose, Pamela Betti, Prospect Street and Pacifica Roadshow.

Get out and see Long Island from the Great South Bay –  will be departing from Captree State Park on the Delta Lady Paddlewheel Boat starting at 1:00 p.m. $15.00 per person gets you an hour and a half long trip.

You can thank all these POS politicians for the new gun legislation designed to make law abidingRead More citizens give up their second amendment rights out of sheer frustration and incontinence of owning a gun legally for increases in savage on citizen violence. This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
