VIDEO: MacArthur Airport Remembers 9/11

Sunday morning ceremony marks the 10th anniversary.

On Sunday morning, officials from Islip Town and Long Island MacArthur Airport gathered at the Ronkonkoma airport to mark the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on New York and Washington.

Speakers included Paul Crispi, deputy federal security director; Teresa Rizzuto, commissioner of MacArthur Airport; and Steve Flotteron, Town councilman. In addition, Sayville High School student and cellist Kyle Tieman-Strauss performed and Ron Meixsell sang the National Anthem.
